Pure Audio Like a Bird

Pure Audio approached us to develop a competition website for the launch of their new Woodland product. The competition was based on site visitors listening to birdsong and trying to identify which birds they belong to.

In developing our approach to the brief, we wanted to create a fast loading, mobile optimised landing page that enabled the competition and celebrated the great outdoors.

We developed the whole user journey, designing the competition mechanic and website. Once approved, we developed the website and integrated it with their existing email marketing system.

A light-hearted bird character was also created to bring the competition to life, and sourced the birdsong from a sound library, making sure the songs related to common (but not too common!) species of bird across Europe.

Pure were delighted with the project, not least because we achieved double the number of entries for the entire competition in the first two weeks alone.
